Retreats and Quiet Days

Whatever pace we live our lives at, we all need time to reflect and re-focus on how we are living. Whether we do this alone or as part of a group, these times are crucial opportunities to Welcome God’s presence into the deep places of our lives, and to be shaped for God’s service.

Local Retreat Centres

We have a number of Retreat Centres in our diocese which offer quiet space for prayer, as well as guided retreats and learning days:

The Spirituality Retreat Grant fund offers grants to assist laity and PTO clergy attend a retreat.

The Week of Accompanied Prayer is a retreat (usually ecumenical) based in a church setting so that people have the benefit of an individually guided retreat whilst living at home and going about their ordinary daily lives.

For further information or to book a week in your church, please contact Coordinator Janet McDonald (01227 860837).
